£125 · GMC-registered GP · No subscription
Eligibility
A short consultation lets the GP confirm your symptoms before issuing a note. We can’t pre-write a note without speaking to you.
How it works
Pick a video appointment, often available within the hour. Tell us a sick note is the reason.
A GMC-registered GP will hear what’s wrong and decide if a fit note is clinically appropriate.
Your signed Med3 fit note arrives by email — usually within an hour of the appointment ending.
Pricing
The £125 covers the GP consultation and the fit note if one is issued. No booking fee, no subscription, no surcharge for the certificate itself.

Common reasons
Most fit notes go alongside a clinical issue. If you’re not sure what you’re dealing with, our condition pages walk through the symptoms, treatment options and red flags first.
Yes. Our GPs issue the standard Med3 fit note used by every UK employer. It’s signed by a GMC-registered GP, which makes it valid for sick pay (SSP), occupational health, and HR purposes — the same as a note from your NHS GP.
Yes — UK employers must accept any fit note signed by a GMC-registered GP, whether NHS or private. The form is identical. If your HR team has questions, they can verify the GP’s registration on the GMC public register.
Most notes are emailed within an hour of the consultation finishing. Book a video appointment for the fastest turnaround — slots are usually available the same day, often within minutes.
A GP can issue a fit note covering the period from your consultation onwards. We can also note that you reported being unwell from an earlier date, but only your GP at the time of the original illness can issue a fully backdated note. If you need a note covering past dates, mention this when you book.
A fit note can cover up to 7 days for the first one without prior assessment, or longer (typically up to 3 months) where clinically appropriate. The GP will agree the duration with you during the consultation.
GPs are independent clinicians and won’t issue a note that isn’t clinically justified. If they decide a note isn’t appropriate, they’ll explain why and discuss alternatives. The £125 covers the consultation, not a guaranteed note.
